MassApply Inc. (“MassApply”) values and respects the privacy of users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect information about registered users of our website (“users” or “you”), as well as visitors to our website(s), what information we collect, how that information may be used and shared, and what options users have regarding the collection and sharing of their data.

Our Data Collection & Retention Policy

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We use encryption where possible, and partner with established cloud-computing providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) to aid us in this mission to keep your data safe and secure. 

We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.

Email Privacy

MassApply has ‘send-only’ email permission for Gmail. This means we can send emails on your behalf, once you authorize us to via the ‘Send Email’ button within our UI. We only send emails to hiring managers and recruiters verified by the MassApply team, with the email content configured by the end user. We do not send any other emails on your behalf. 

MassApply does NOT have access to your contact book. MassApply does NOT have read-email permissions. That means MassApply does not have the ability to read your incoming emails. 

Information Collected When You Visit Our Website

We also may collect Information from you when you visit our website (including the website on which this Privacy Policy is posted), such as to express interest in our services or sign up for our newsletters. If you submit personal information to us, such as your name, address, email address, and phone number, we may use this information to market to you – for instance, to send you information about new products and events.

In addition, when you visit our website, we or third party platforms we work with may automatically collect other information from your desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, tablet, or other consumer electronic device that you use to access the website. Our current Privacy Policy is effective as of 25 October 2020.
